As mentioned in our previous posts we’ll be introducing the Peak Engagement team over the next few weeks. Read about the role they play in making the products you love, their favorite part of the holidays and their favorite feature including a gift of tips and tricks. Enjoy! Introducing Pete Cossette, Senior Software Engineer Role at Peak Engagement: As the Senior Software Engineer at Peak Engagement, I’m primarily responsible for working on new features for our Peak Portals and Peak NFP products. On any given release I’ll do a combination of design, coding, testing, and documentation. Once testing and documentation are complete, I create the final builds for our products and release those to our portal. It’s very important to me that our releases are “rock-solid” before they go out the door and into your hands! You’ll also catch me handling Support cases and answering Discussion board posts from time to time. Favorite thing about the holidays: I can’t pick just one thing – my favorite things are having smorgasbord for Christmas Eve dinner, watching “A Christmas Story” for the umpteenth time, and seeing the look on my kids’ faces when they see what Santa brought. Favorite product feature: I love the localization capabilities of Peak Portals – it’s what allows us to have a global community, with partners in 14 countries and customers in 17 countries. You can choose from one of nine out-of-the-box languages (Danish, Dutch, English, German, French, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, or Swedish) to display the portal in the language of your native speaker(s). Don’t see your language listed? Read the “Translating the Portal” section of our Administration Guide to learn how to create a new language or customize the out-of-the-box translations. Setting the language of your portal takes 3 easy steps:
