Here at CRM Vertex, we’re constantly striving to improve our portal product. Customer and partner feedback helps drive our development, and the CRM Vertex team has been hard at work adding new features for the Summer 2015 release. To our blog readers, we give you the sneak peek of what’s coming this July.
Customer self-service isn’t limited to one locale, and with our summer release providing a portal in your user’s primary language will be possible. We’ll be supporting eight languages out of the box, with more in future releases. In addition, our partners and customers will be able to build their own translation files to support languages that may not be covered in the summer release. We look forward to bringing our customers and partners this great addition to our portal. Or should I say – Wir freuen uns auf diese große Bereicherung für unser Portal zu bringen unseren Kunden und Partnern.
Module Builder – Multiple Forms & Views
The CRM Vertex Module Builder provides great value and we continue to make improvements to it in every release. Next we’ll include the ability to surface multiple forms and views from an entity through the portal. This allows you to quickly provide different views and filtering options through the easy-to-use Module Builder. This includes forms targeted for specific actions, such as creating, updating, and viewing of records.
This release is packed with features we want to tell you about including the Starter Portal. This multi-tenant, cloud-hosted offering will be available for CRM Online and partner-hosted CRM customers, providing huge value at a price point never before seen in the portal space for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. As we all know customer self-service and engagement is a requirement in today’s business world. CRM Vertex believe that every CRM customer should be able to provide a portal experience to their customers, partners, vendors, or constituents—our Starter Portal offering will make that a reality for even the smallest CRM customers. Stay tuned for more details!
Spring 2015 Release Refresher
Our latest release was full of new features and enhancements. If you’ve missed the announcement here’s a refresher.
Document Library Modules and SharePoint Integration
You now have the ability to create stand-alone SharePoint Document Library Modules to distribute documents. There’s no limit to the amount of Document Library Modules you can have and each can be assigned different security roles. In addition, portal users with CRM/SharePoint integration are able to expose SharePoint documents on a custom module and even let users upload new documents into SharePoint, directly from the portal.
We’ve successfully streamlined the initial deployment process, rolling out a one-click portal configuration. Deploy a portal quickly and easily to be up and running with our core modules in minutes.
Capture leads or additional data for any CRM entity without needing to sign into the portal.
Sub-grid Data Management
Create and update records, and execute workflows through sub-grids on Module Builder forms.
Make it easy for your customers to log-in to your portal. Now you can support authentication through Facebook, Google, and Microsoft. Enterprise customers can also enable single sign-on, Active Directory Federation Services, or a custom security token service.
A customer portal is a vital piece of business today and our goal at CRM Vertex is to enable all Dynamics CRM customers the opportunity to provide multi-channel engagement to their customers. With each release, we strive to provide increased value to CRM Vertex customers and partners. Enjoy the new features and stay tuned for the upcoming July release.
